Since 2019, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has worked with municipalities to install manhole cover designs that utilize anime, manga, and local characters. We will inform you that participants will hold a stamp rally "TOKYO Design Manhole Digital Rally" around design manholes and sightseeing spots throughout Tokyo using smartphones. In conjunction with the digital rally, we will start distributing the "manhole card special edition" (15 types in the second edition) of the design manhole cover produced and supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

1 About holding the "TOKYO Design Manhole Digital Rally"

From October 29 (Friday) to December 24, 2021 ( until Friday

Visiting design manholes and sightseeing spots in Tokyo's 62 wards and municipalities (approximately 100 locations each), If you access the digital rally homepage from your smartphone, you can earn stamps and points for that spot. In addition, please wear a mask, keep your distance and cooperate in preventing infectious diseases.
Anyone can join for free. Advance registration is required.
If you accumulate a certain amount of points and meet the conditions, you can apply for a lottery to win original manhole goods. A total of 1,680 prizes will be awarded.

(3) Distribution of original videos

On the official website, original videos introducing the appeal of design manholes will be distributed sequentially from Friday, October 29, 2021, and December 24. It will be open to the public for a limited time until Sunday (Friday).

In collaboration with GKP (Sewerage Public Relations Platform), we have newly produced 15 types of "Manhole Card Special Edition" Vol. 2 Did. This special edition has a gold background color on the card unlike the regular edition. * Last year, we started distributing the first 12 types, and this year will be the second time.
