Mitsubishi Electric compared the ventilation volume with and without weak operation of the range hood fan after ventilating with a 24-hour ventilation system in the same building. When using a range hood fan, it was possible to secure more than three times the ventilation volume compared to when not using it.

In the case of strong operation, the range hood fan may have excessive ventilation volume and the room temperature may change. Therefore, the experiment was conducted with weak operation.

Moreover, even if the ventilation volume can be secured, there is a possibility that dirty air remains in the room. It is also important to use a fan or circulator to stir the air in the room and eliminate the stagnation of the air.
