Aiming for a space that "feels good" with an emphasis on appearance

Ever since I decided to build a house, I've been crazy about the kitchen. I saw a lot of materials while building the house, but I was particularly careful about the kitchen. It's a place where I work every day, so I had a strong desire to create a space that not only feels comfortable to use, but also makes me feel better. Therefore, I felt that it was a little more difficult to use than the system kitchen, which would be overwhelmingly easy to use, but I wanted to make it my own taste. After seeing a lot of kitchens on books and SNS, I decided to use stainless steel for the top plate and wood for the face material. The all-stainless steel kitchen is also rugged, but I wonder if it's a little too sharp for me. The standard pattern of the construction company "Wazataku" that I was asking for was "stainless steel top plate and wood", so I was able to leave it as it was. When you actually use it, if the face material is wood, the dirt will be noticeable, and there are still some parts that are more difficult to handle than the smooth material, but the dirt is not so noticeable if you think of it as a taste. I often spill various things during cooking, so when I got a stain early after moving in, it was a little dented, but as I got a little dirty, it didn't bother me in a blink of an eye (laughs).
