2022年1月21日(金)～2月3日(木)に東京国際映画祭(TIFF)と国際交流基金アジアセンターの共催で《食》にまつわるアジア映画と東京国際映画祭「CROSSCUT ASIA」部門のアンコール特集「CROSSCUT ASIA おいしい！オンライン映画祭」が、オンラインで2部構成の特別編として復活開催される。2014年から2019年の6年間にわたり、さまざまな切り口でアジア映画の特集上映を行ってきた本映画祭。今回は、「CROSSCUT ASIA特別編“おいしい”アジア映画特集」部門と「CROSSCUT ASIAアンコール」部門として東南アジアを代表する映画監督たちによる《食》をメイントピックとした映画7作と、これまでのTIFF「CROSSCUT ASIA」部門で上映され好評を博した作品6本の計13プログラムを無料delivery。さらに、これらの《メインメニュー》とは別に「国際交流基金東南アジア拠点のスタッフのリアルなランチ報告の各国ランチレポート 」「在日の各国大使館での料理にまつわる大使館インタビュー」「各作品監督とのオンライントーク」「東南アジア各国の食文化を掘り下げた記事」などを《スペシャルメニュー》として動画やテキストの記事で公開する。
