In general, dishwashers (hereinafter referred to as dishwashers) have required branch faucet construction. Attach another faucet to the faucet you are using to branch the flow of water and connect the added one to the dishwasher. The construction of the branch faucet itself is a simple one that takes about 30 minutes, but depending on the type of faucet, it may not be possible to install the branch faucet. Then, it is necessary to replace the entire faucet, which is a large scale. Rental condominiums require the permission of the management company or owner. Even if a branch faucet is installed, in the case of a rental house, it must be restored to its original state when moving.

For that reason, the branch faucet construction in the kitchen was a hurdle to introduce a dishwasher.

The tank-type dishwasher solves this problem. Instead of drawing in water with a branch faucet, you can use it by filling the tank of the main body with water yourself. It takes time to supply water every time you use it, but the biggest merit is that it is easy to install because you do not need a faucet. Drainage drains into the sink.

It's easy because there is no need to adjust the construction schedule or prepare parts.

I had reviewed Panasonic's dishwasher before, but at that time it was necessary to schedule the construction and prepare parts for the branch faucet. I don't need it this time, so I feel comfortable! (However, construction of the ground wire is required).

The main body size of NP-TSP1 is width 550 x height 600 x depth 341 mm. Since the tank is at the bottom, the height of the main body is high, but the structure is such that it does not easily hit the faucet when opening and closing the door. Thanks to the lift-up open door, the space required in front of the dishwasher (opening and closing the door) is greatly reduced compared to the conventional model. I think that the number of kitchens that can be installed has increased considerably, so this point cannot be overlooked.

By the way, my home is ... I tried installing the NP-TSP1 on the left side of the sink, where I usually put the dishwashing basket, but I gave up because it hit the hanging cupboard at the top. I thought about passing the board over the sink and installing it, but after trial and error, I decided to put it on the shelf where the toaster and rice cooker had been placed.

Although it is a tank type, it is possible to install a branch faucet later.

After installation, before you start using it, set the attached accessory case in the refrigerator and connect the drain hose and band. The drainage destination is the sink. A bib hanger is attached to the accessory case, so it is convenient to wash a dishwasher-compatible bib. Of course, the bib hanger can be removed.

There is also a drain hose connection and a water supply connection on the back of the NP-TSP1 main unit. The water supply connection is for a branch faucet. In the case of NP-TSP1, when "I used it in a tank type but want to use a branch faucet", I can switch to water supply with a branch faucet.

Even if you can't work on the branch faucet in the house you live in, you can install the branch faucet if you can move to it. Also, if it is more troublesome to fill the tank with water every time you use it, you can change the water supply method. I'm grateful to be able to respond flexibly to my lifestyle.

Let's wash the dishes. After putting the dishes and detergent in NP-TSP1, pour water into the tank. The attached water cup has a capacity of 2 liters, so put about 4.5 cups of water in the tank (about 9 liters). Pip when it reaches the appropriate amount! It makes a sound, so you don't have to weigh it exactly every time.

The operation panel is on the front of the main unit. You can choose from 3 cleaning modes depending on how dirty the dishes are, and if you only want to dry the dishes, you can set it in 30 or 60 minutes. There is also a cleaning setting that cleans the inside of the refrigerator and a reservation button that starts after 4 hours.

Select "L1" for the stain level of the dishes to be washed, "L2" for washing immediately after eating, and "L3" for washing with a lot of oil stains or several hours after eating.

Since my house has a lot of Western food, I basically washed it with "L3". The driving noise that you are worried about is the sound of splashing water with Basher Basher. According to the catalog, the driving sound is about 39 to 41 dB, but it feels like washing a washing machine. It was quiet when it was dry.

Tableware for 4 people, enough to wash 1 meal

Looking at the catalog of NP-TSP1, it says "24 items can be put in standard tableware". The standard tableware is based on the standards set by the Electric Industry Association (JEMA), and the 24 points of NP-TSP1 are as follows.

When actually using it, the size of the tableware is different for children and adults, so it is really difficult to set 24 tableware properly in the refrigerator. However, about 14 to 20 pieces of tableware used in one meal were firmly contained, and it became beautiful after washing and drying.

You can also put cooking utensils such as tongs and ladles after you put the dishes. Depending on the number of dishes, frying pans and pots may need to be washed separately. In my case, after dinner, I set only tableware and cooking utensils and washed the pot myself. For breakfast and making lunch, I used a small frying pan with few dishes, so I could wash them all at once.

The key to cleaning dishes cleanly with NP-TSP1 is to set the dishes so that the dirt on the dishes is exposed to the water flow, so that the dirt is directed toward the spray nozzle inside the refrigerator. The rest is not to pack too much. At first, the soup bowls piled up and I couldn't wash them well, but after a few times I got the hang of it. Even if you set it roughly, it will be beautiful.

The result of washing is good because it uses hot water and a dishwasher-specific detergent. Is the momentum of water weak if it is a tank type? I thought that the NP-TSP1 uses a pump with the same performance as the branch faucet model, so the momentum of injection does not drop.

Not only the pottery tableware after eating the curry, but also the plastic plate became beautiful. The spoons and glasses are shining as if they were polished, and there is a feeling of "clean!" And satisfaction. The "Akutori", which is hard to remove stains and difficult to wash, was also shiny.

The tank type is easy!

A dishwasher with high detergency, no rough hands, and a high degree of satisfaction that it can be dried by leaving it alone. At first, I was delighted, saying, "It's easy because you don't need a branch faucet! It's good without buying a branch faucet! It's easy to clean because the area around the faucet isn't cluttered!"

I knew it, but it would be a hassle to add water every time I was doing it myself ... (I think it depends on the person who uses it).

One day, let's add water with a hose! However, because the position of the faucet is lower than the water supply port of NP-TSP1, water does not flow, so I decided to put it in the attached cup after all. If you can find a way to temporarily attach the hose to the faucet, it will be much easier.

The dishwasher has become an indispensable home appliance because I spend more time at home

The more time you spend at home, the more often you eat and wash your dishes at home. Having a dishwasher will help. I can't let go.

The NP-TSP1 that holds 24 tableware is the right size for cleaning up after meals at home (for 4 people). If it is smaller than this, it will be necessary to devise a little, such as washing it in several batches or matching the size of the tableware to be used.

The installation aspect is a problem when introducing a dishwasher in many homes, but I thought that the NP-TSP1, which can be switched from a tank type to a branch faucet, can flexibly respond to lifestyles and is convenient. rice field. If you live in a rented house, you may move, and once you buy a dishwasher, you will use it for 10 years, so in the long run it is advantageous to choose a water supply method.

Since the NP-TSP1 has a built-in tank height, the upper shelf may collide with it when it is placed like at home. Before purchasing, it is important to measure the space around the faucet and the distance to the shelves. In actual installation, it is OK if the "legs" on the bottom of the main body are on, so let's check the installation size in addition to the main body size.
